Monitor lamp/soak operation
The status of the lamp/soak can be monitored from the bit of the lamp/soak
setting R+33 shown to the right.
When the last step of the R/S profile completion program is
completed, it is set to "1".
Sork: When the PV deviation (SP-PV) exceeds the displacement
specified in the R/S table, it is set to "1".
When the retained R/S profile is in active state, it is set to "1".
The number of the current step is in the high-order 8 bits of the lamp/soak
setting R+33. Bits represent two-digit hexadecimal numbers in the range
1-10. In the ladder circuit, the lamp/soak operation can be monitored to
interlock with other parts of the program. Loading this word to the
accumulator and shifting it to the right of 8 bits results in the number of
steps.

Lamp/soak program error
The start address of the lamp/soak table must be in a valid position. If the
address is set to be outside the user memory range, one of the right bits is
turned on when the lamp/soak generator starts. It is recommended to use
KPP to configure the lamp/soak table. KPP automatically checks the
range of addresses.

Lamp/soak operation test
Before you use the lamp/soak profile to control the process, test the
profile. Even if PID control is in manual mode, this test can be easily
performed because the lamp/soak generator is running. The PID display
of KPP displays the profile on the screen, which saves time. Make sure
that the time scale of the trend display is sufficiently slow so that all the
lamp/soak section pairs can be displayed in the waveform window.
Note: DirectSOFT4 and DirectSOFT5 are not supported.
Be sure to use KPP Ver1. 5.0.0 or higher.
