Installation environment
The SJ-Ether PLC is usually installed on the control panel. The SJ-Ether PLC can also be installed on the control panel using its
small geometry.
When installing the SJ Ether PLC, avoid the following conditions.
①
Locations where the operating ambient temperature exceeds the range of 0
℃
to 55
℃
②
Locations where the ambient humidity exceeds the range of 30% to 95%RH.
③
Place where condensation occurs due to abrupt temperature change
④
Corrosive or combustible gas exists
⑤
Places where there are many conductive powders such as iron powder, oil mist, salt, or organic solvent.
⑥
Locations subject to direct sunlight
⑦
Locations where strong electric and strong magnetic fields are generated.
⑧
Place where direct vibration or impact is applied to the main unit
CAUTION: The SJ-Ether PLC operates normally at an ambient temperature between 0
℃
and 55
℃
. If it is used at a
temperature above 40
℃
for a long time, the battery life and the life of electronic components such as
semiconductors will be significantly reduced. Design the control panel in consideration of the following 1.... 3.
①
Do not install near the heat generating equipment or at the top of the control panel.
②
Install the product so that wind flows up and down the PLC body (natural air cooling).
③
If the temperature in the panel is 40
℃
or higher, install a fan (forced air cooling).
It also helps to prevent condensation and when equipment is crowded.
