Wiring precautions
(1)
Wiring of the power supply system and the emergency stop circuit
Separate the power supply from the power system, control system, PLC system, DC input/output system, etc. for wiring. In
addition, configure an emergency stop circuit using an external relay circuit so that failure or abnormal operation of the
PLC does not lead to operation of the entire system.
[Circuit example]
WARNING: Do not connect the emergency stop circuit to the PLC. If the PLC fails, the system may become
inoperable, resulting in personal injury, damage to the equipment, or life-threatening hazard.
(2)
Power line contamination noise
The SJ-Ether series is designed so as not to cause problems with noise generated in ordinary factories, and noise
countermeasures against power supply are not required. However, it is recommended to insert an insulated transformer or
a noise filter into the power supply line at a location where special large noise is expected, such as when there are many
inductive loads such as a large-capacity motor or AC solenoid, or when the inverter is opened or closed frequently.
