Appendix C SJ-Ether New Addition Command
The following explains the newly added commands in the SJ-Ether.
Ethernet communication instruction
Ethernet Communication Network Read (ERX)
The SJ Ether Network Master reads data collectively from connected slave devices using a read command (ERX) from the
network, and writes the data to the V memory in the network master device. This command allows the user to specify the
following items:
The following describes the protocol: MODBUS(Modbus/TCP).

CPU communication port number specifies port 3 (K3) of SJ-Ether.

The other station number specifies the slave station address (0 to 255).
If there is no station number or station number setting item in the slave device,
specify that this item is K0.

Function code: The MODBUS/TCP function codes supported by the ERX command are as follows:
01-Reading Output Status
02-Reading Input Status
03-Reading the Retention Register
04-Reading Input Register
07-Reading Extended Register
・
The other device's memory address specifies the slave device start memory address of the data to be read.
