I/O Array Registration and Array Checking
Connect the extended I/O module to the SJ Ether PLC. When the power is turned on, the extended I/O module reads the
identification code of all modules in the order of slot number. This code can be registered in the parameter area and the
peripheral device can set whether to perform a comparison check.
It is set that I/O alignment is not checked when the product is shipped or when system parameter is initialized.
I do.
①
For I/O array check
If the I/O array stored in the current I/O array and the system parameter area (power failure hold) are different when
the power supply of the PLC main unit is turned on, the error is detected and the STOP mode is activated.
In this case, select the I/O array recorded in the system parameter area or the current array from the peripheral
equipment.
②
When I/O array check is not performed
When power is supplied to the PLC, the current I/O array is recorded in the system parameter area.
③
I/O array check during operation
During operation, I/O arrays are constantly monitored, and if any abnormalities are found, errors are detected and
the mode goes into STOP mode.

Number of occupied I/O points and mounting position of the extended I/O module
Refer to 3-3 Extended I/O Module for the number of occupied I/O points of the extended I/O module. All slot numbers are
between 1 and 8. Refer to 2-3 I/O Configuration for the array of modules.
