Remote input GI
Functional memory GI is used primarily to control remote I/O, but it can be used as a normal internal relay when there is
no remote I/O on the system.
①
The input status of the input module allocated for link input among the input modules is stored for each I/O scan.
②
The input assigned to the GI is all CPU inputs that are linked by the broadcast function.

Remote output GQ
Functional memory GQ is used primarily to control remote I/O, but can be used as a normal internal relay when there is no
remote I/O on the system.
①
The GQ on the network is controlled by commands from the specified CPU and otherwise treated as same as the
normal output.
②
Areas that are not set anywhere on the network and areas that are not output controlled can be used as internal
relays.

Pointer P
Pointer P is an indirectly designated register that indicates the register number in which the target data is stored in the
program.
It works by using the data stored in the register number (octal number) converted from the data (hexadecimal) stored in
the register designated in P.
①
This is a data register stored in register R whose address is converted from hexadecimal value to octal value
stored in register address specified by P.
②
Indirectly specified content is the same as register R.
It is output only to the specific
stations that are linked.
Writes an octal constant 2000 to
R1400 on the first scan that CPU
has RUN.
Writes a constant FFFF to
address R2000 stored in R1400
and increments the variable
R1400 by 1.
(Make the next address.)
Write the constant FFFF to
address R2001 stored in R1400
in the following scan and
increment R1400.
Repeat this for a total of 16 times
to write the constant FFFF to 16
registers from R2000 to R2017.
