1.  Turn off all electrical power to fireplace.  

 NOTE:  When fireplace is initially lit, condensation will appear  
                on the glass; this is normal in all gas fireplaces and will    

disappear after several minutes.

3.  Wait five (5) minutes to allow any gas that may have accumulated 

inside firebox to escape. If you then smell gas, 

STOP!

installation manual.  If you don‟t smell gas, go to next step.

         DO NOT light the pilot by hand.
