NOTE:

ost engine troubles are caused, directly or indirectly,
by the fuel used on the machine. Take special care not
to mix motor oil for 4 cycle engines.

Starting a cold engine
Set the engine switch

(fig 3) to the START
position.
Press the fuel priming pump

times.
Set the choke knob

(fig 4) to the OFF
position.
Place the tool flat on the ground so that it is
stable and pull on the handle of the starter
knob

(fig 4)
until the engine shows signs of
attempting to start. Initially pull the starter
knob slowly until you feel resistance and then
pull on the cord strongly. Hold the cord as
it winds back into the starter and allow it to
wind on gently and slowly.
At this point, set the choke knob

back to the
ON position and start the engine by repeat-
edly pulling on the starting knob. ATTENTION!
Spinning the engine for too long with the
choke knob in the OFF position will result in
Operation
flooding of the engine and problems with
starting it up.
Prior to starting work, leave the engine to
warm up for a few minutes to get up to oper-
ating temperature.
Starting a warm engine
Set the engine switch

position.
Pull on the handle of the starting knob

until
the engine starts up.
DO NOT USE THE CHOKE!
WARNING:
In the event that the fuel in the fuel tank was
completely used up, after pouring in fuel, repeat
the steps for Starting a cold engine.
To increase the speed of the tool, pull the throttle
trigger
