Krell Showcase Processor
Use the direction keys (75) to select the anti-clip option you want (
ON
or
OFF
) and the input gain decibel level. Krell recommends leaving
anti-clip
ON.
ON
The anti-clip function measures the signal level and prevents the input
signal from overloading (clipping) the analog-to-digital converters.
OFF
Disengages the anti-clip function. This may result in distorted sound.
Boost weaker signals by increasing the input gain value. Use the
direction and enter keys to select the number of dB.
To maximize your system’s signal-to-noise ratio without clipping,
increase the input gain value applied to the signal until you see the
clip indicator illuminate on the screen; then back the input gain value
off one step. The optimal signal gain value will vary from source to
source.
After selecting the anti-clip and input gain options for your analog
devices, press the previous key (74) once to return to the
CONFIGURE
LEVELS
menu.
