5.4  Troubleshooting

Problem

Possible cause

Remedy

The measurement is inaccurate.

This is probably due to coatings 

on the sensors.

The sensor needs to be cleaned. 

Use automatic sensor cleaning 

or, if this does not help, clean the 

sensor with a soft cloth. For 

further information refer to 

Automatic sensor cleaning

 on 

page 35.

Flow velocity is not stable.

Regulate and stabilise the flow 

velocity.

The sensor slope appears to be 

too small.

This is probably due to coatings 

on the sensors.

The sensor needs to be cleaned. 

Use automatic sensor cleaning

sensor with a soft cloth. For
