KITCHEN HOODS
Replacement of coal filters
Coal filters, if they are installed and the hood works
in recirculation mode, should be changed once ev-
ery 5 months. For your hood, two coal filters are
installed. They are installed on aluminum grease fil-
ters. To remove the coal filter, it should be carefully
removed from the pressure plates mounted on the
aluminum grease filter.
Replacing the backlight lamps
To replace the backlight lamp (Fig.12), it is neces-
sary to:
- disconnect the steam sip-off machine from the
power supply and find the wire of the burnt
lamp;
- disconnect the power cord in the connector by
pressing two petals of the steam sip-off machine
cover, remove the burned lamp;
- insert a new lamp in place of the burned-out
backlight lamp;
- connect the lamp power wire in the connector;
- connect the steam sip-off machine to the power
supply and check the operation of the lamps.
The removal and replacement of the lamps and
filters is not included in the warranty service.
KITCHEN HOOD INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTION
These are only trained professionals who are
permitted to install and connect kitchen hoods.
It is prohibited to begin the installation procedure
and remove the protective film on the kitchen hood
made of steel, until you make sure it is technically
sound, connecting that to an electrical power net-
work and checking all its functions.
For that purpose, place the hood case (Fig.1, pos.
2) to have the back side of the case, that should
be retained against the wall, on the table or on the
floor, and the mode selection switch of the hood,
which is on the front panel, should face an inspect-
ing person.
After that connect the kitchen hood to the mains
and check its function. Check that in all modes,
and if it functions properly, you may begin the
hood mounting. If not, contact the sales agency
where you have purchased the hood, or warranty
workshop.
It is recommended to remove the protection film
on the hoods made of stainless steel only upon
completion of the installation procedure.
Let us remind you that the hood mounting
height above an electric stove shall be 65 cm at
least, and 75 cm above a gas stove.
Your hood can be installed in two methods. By at-
taching it on the wall or by attaching it to the wall
drawer. If the hood is attached to a wall, then, as
a rule, it is used for operation in the recirculation
mode. In this case, it is necessary to install a coal
filter on it, install the damper shown in Fig. 4, in
the position of recirculation, close the holes at
the bottom and at the top of the hood with a plug
(included in the delivery set, the plugs are already
installed in the right places).
When attaching the hood on the wall, the se-
quence of the installation procedure is as follows:
1. Before drilling holes for dowels in the wall,
markings must be made (Fig. 13).
2. Drill two holes at the points marked on the
wall. The depth of the holes must correspond
to the length of the dowel.
3. Install the two dowels in the holes drilled by
you.
4. Screw in two screws into the holes so that the
distance between the wall and the head of the
screw is 5 mm.
5. Hang the hood at the reference points.
When mounting the hood on the wall drawer, the
operations performed depend on the mode in
which the hood will operate. If the hood is to op-
erate in the mode of exhausting air to the ventila-
tion shaft, then the installation operations are per-
formed in the following sequence (Fig. 14):
1. Make the layout of the drilling points from be-
low on the wall drawer for fixing screws and a
flexible duct. Make the necessary holes.
