KITCHEN HOODS
2. Install the plug from the kit to the upper air out-
let of the kitchen hood.
3. Turn the mode switch (located on the plastic
box of the motors inside the hood) to the posi-
tion in which the arrow in the figure of the house
points inside.
When using the hood in the mode of air exhaust to
the ventilation shaft, you should:
1. Remove the plug from the upper air outlet of the
hood.
2. Replace it with the adapter flange from the sup-
ply kit.
3. Turn the mode switch (located on the plastic
box of the motors inside the hood) to the posi-
tion where the arrow in the figure of the house
points out.
4. Fix to the adapter flange an air duct of 150 mm
diameter and required length with a clamp
(available separately).
Installation of the kitchen hood
to the wall
When attaching the hood to the wall (Fig. 14) opera-
tions are performed in the following sequence:
1. Make a layout before drilling holes for mounting
the hood to the wall. To do this, it is necessary
to measure the distance between the centers of
the holes intended for hanging on the wall. At
the desired height draw a horizontal line on the
wall. Mark the points A and B on this line, the
distance between the points should be equal to
the distance measured between the centers of
the holes for hanging the hood.
2. Drill 2 holes at the points marked on the wall.
The depth and diameter of the holes must
match the size of the dowels from the mounting
kit.
3. Install the dowels in the holes you have drilled.
Screw the screws into the dowels so that the
distance between the wall and the head of the
screw is approximately 5 mm.
4. Hang the hood on the support points.
Installation of a hood to a wall cabinet
1. There are four holes in the upper part of the
machinehood housing with metal bushings in-
serted into. These holes are used to fix the hood
to the hanging cabinet (Fig. 15).
2. The hanging cabinet is ordered, as a rule, with-
out a bottom, and the middle shelf is placed at
a given height relative to the lower edge of the
cabinet so that the machine body is recessed
into the Cabinet.
3. With the use of sampler (placed with the manu-
al into the packaging of the machine) the layout
for the holes for the screws and a flexible air
duct are made on the middle shelf of the cabi-
net (if the machine is used in the mode of air
exhaust to the shaft).
4. With the use of sampler mark the ceiling of the
cabinet for fixing the flexible air duct (if the hood
is used in the mode of air exhaust to the shaft).
5. In the middle shelf the holes for screws are
drilled, and, in addition, in the middle shelf and
the ceiling of the cabinet the holes for the flex-
ible air duct are made (if the hood is used in the
mode of air exhaust to the shaft).
6. Before placing the hood in the cabinet chose
the desired mode of use and make the changes
described in the instructions above.
7. The hood is fixed with screws to the middle
shelf of the cabinet, then its upper part is re-
cessed into the cabinet.
8. After the hood is mounted in the cabinet, the
latter is suspended on the wall of the kitchen.
CONNECTION TO POWER SUPPLY
The kitchen hood is connected to the power net-
work with the voltage of 220-240V, 50 Hz.
The kitchen hood should be connected to a wall
outlet with earthing to avoid electrocution.
It is absolutely prohibited to cut off the plug
during kitchen hood installation.
The damaged electrical cord should be re-
placed by a qualified service specialist.
For additional protection of the kitchen hood from
voltage drops in the network, connect it though an
additional automatic switch 6A.
The kitchen hood is installed.
Switch it on and use it as you please.
