KITCHEN HOODS
Simultaneously with cleaning of the grease trap fil-
ter, clean all the accessible elements of the kitchen
hood case from grease deposits.
To disconnect the aluminum filter (Fig. 9), press the
spring lock on the filter and pull it and then press
down to remove. When you remove the filter, do not
apply the effort to the aluminum surface of the filter
as it may lead to dents on its surface, affecting the
external appearance of the filter.
Do not install the filter in the kitchen hood until it
is completely dry.
The filter is installed in the reverse order. Press the
spring lock on the filter and put it in place, after
which release the lock.
Replace of carbon filters
Coal filters, if they are installed and the hood works
in recirculation mode, should be changed every 5
months. For your hood, one rectangular carbon
filter is installed. It is installed in a frame located in
the interior of the hood, in front of the engine block.
Replacing the backlight
For backlight, on the hood, LED strip is used. The
purchase and replacement of the strip is done by
means of an authorized service center.
HOOD INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTION
Only the specialist has the right to install and
connect the hood to the mains.
You can not start the installation of the hood and
remove the protective film from the stainless steel
hood until you are convinced of the technical
condition of the hood by connecting it to the
electrical network and checking all its functions.
To do this, open the package, remove the hood
and place it on a flat surface in such a way that
switch of operating modes is turned towards the
inspector. The hood is then connected to the
mains and being tested.
If it is working properly at all modes, then you
should start installing the hood. If not, contact the
organization where you purchased the hood or the
warranty workshop. Protective film from stainless
steel hoods should only be removed after the hood
has been installed.
We remind you that the height of the hood above
the electric stove should be at least 65 cm,
and above the gas stove less than 75 cm. It is
recommended to install this hood together with
one more person.
Before installing the hood, make sure that the wall
on which the hood is hung is competent enough.
To hang the hood and the bracket for securing the
decorative duct, use screws and dowels, which
suit the type of walls in your kitchen (reinforced
concrete, plasterboard, etc). If the screws and
dowels are included in the kit, you should make
sure that they are suitable for the type of wall on
which the hood will be hung.
Install the hood in the following sequence:
1. Before you start drilling holes for dowels in the
wall, you need to make a marking, for which
attach the supplied paper template (liner)
to the wall. Point F, located on the template,
should be at a height of 100 cm from the
electric hob or at an altitude of 110 cm from the
gas cooktop. Level the template by level. Mark
the points (A and B) on the wall.
2. Drill a hole of the diameter 10 mm.. The depth
of the hole must correspond to the length of
the dowel (40 mm.) in the points (A and B).
3. Take the M6x45 setscrews, place the metal
dowels on them so that the cut-off part is
directed towards the screw head, and install
them into the threaded part in the holes drilled
in the wall A and B.
4. Install the plastic adapter flange (if not
installed) by fixing it with 4 4x10 self-tapping
screws.
5. Hang the hood on the reference points A and
B. Tighten the nuts with a full pressing of the
hood to the wall with maximum force, until the
fixation of the fasteners in the wall is complete.
