The relief springs (1) are used to adapt the ground pressure of the cutterbar to the local
conditions. In order to protect the sward the load on the cutterbar must be relieved so that it
does not jump when mowing, yet does not leave any brush marks on the ground.
Increasing/reducing ground pressure

Loosen the counter nut (5).
WARNING!
Risk of injury caused by relief spring tearing off.
Never
unscrew the threaded spindles (2) of the relief springs (1) further than the
dimension X
=
80 mm.
To increase the ground pressure, increase the dimension X.
To reduce the ground pressure, reduce the dimension X.
Tighten the counter nut (5).
Set the dimension X in the same way on all relief springs.

The lifting speed / lowering speed from working position to headland position and vice versa is
set via throttle (3).
The lifting speed/lowering speed is adjusted from the headland position to the transport position
and vice versa by means of the throttle (4).
