Notes
1. The sheaves should be centered on the shaft’s keyway. Sheave can be closer to the bearing, as long as the sheaves hub is able to fully engage
with the key.
2. Check for parallel misalignment by placing a straight edge across the outer face of the sheaves (Figure 5). Straight edge is to be long enough
that it extends past both sheaves.
3. If the sheaves are misaligned (Figure 4), loosen the motor’s mounting hardware and slide the motor forward (or back) to bring the sheaves into
alignment (Figure 5), Then re-tighten hardware.
