Intended use
These devices are specially designed to keep rooms dry. They may only be used indoors in
closed rooms and must not come into direct contact with water.
System description
The dehumidifier produces dry air and then blows this air through a ventilator. Damp air
is sucked into the device and directed over the cooled surface of the cooling unit where
steam condenses. This condensate is directed via the collection tray into the water tank
or siphoned out with a hose. The dry air is heated to the original room temperature in the
warm part of the cooling unit, before being blown back into the room through the ventilator.
Transport
Always carry the device upright to avoid compressor and transport damage.
Storage
Always clean the condensation water tank and case before storing the device for long pe-
riods of time. If possible, store the device in its original box.
Positioning and Installation
The device should be placed on an even surface. Check the surface with a level to be sure.
For safety reasons, the device should be placed at least 8 cm from any flammable objects.
Room temperature requirements: min. +10°C, max. +30°C
If the condensation water is collected in a water tank, then the tank must be emptied
regularly. Depending on the temperature and humidity of the room, the tank could fill up
once or twice per day.
With direct drainage:
Attach the hose to the connector.
With direct drainage:
Insert the end of the hose into the drainpipe (preferably siphoned).
