INSTRUCTIONS

Transportation and storage

The machine should whenever possible
be transported in an upright position. If
it is transported on its side, the machine
must be placed in an upright position
and left for at least two hours before
being connected to the mains and
started.

If the machine is not going to be used
for a significant period of time, the water
tank and housing must be cleaned with
a damp cloth and then rubbed dry
before storage. The machine should then
be packed in its original box.

Installation

Position the machine on a level surface

Ensure that the air circulation in the
room is sufficient

Do not obstruct the intake and outlet
openings

Ensure a safe distance of 8 cm to
flammable parts

Ensure a minimum distance of 50 cm
to walls and furniture

Do not install in rooms larger than
60 m

Operating temperatures:

   min. + 12

C / max. + 30

Starting the machine

Close doors and windows

Connect mains plug – power indicator
light (2) should go on

Check correct positioning of water
tank (7)

Set hygrostat controller (1) to desired
value

The machine works automatically, i.e. as
soon as the level of dryness set on the
controller is reached, the dehumidifier

switches off and only starts working
again when the humidity level rises. We
recommend that you fit a hygrometer in
the room in order to check the humidity
levels. If the humidity level is too high,
switch the hygrostat controller to a lower
value; if the humidity is too low, switch
the controller to a higher value. If you
set the hygrostat controller to 1, the
dehumidifier remains on permanently.

In the defrost phase – defrost light (4)
on – the compressor switches off,
although the fan continues to run.

Maintenance

When the water tank (7) is full, the unit
switches off automatically and the
middle indicator light (3) is illuminated.

Take hold of the tank by the grooves
on its left and right sides and carefully
remove it

Empty tank

Replace tank correctly

Direct water drainage

If required, the collected water can be
drained directly.

Remove water tank (7)

Remove the push-off plastic part from
the back of the machine

Insert hose (15 mm diameter –
available from normal outlets) through
the opening you have just made and
fit it over the outlet connector at the
top front left.

Place the other end of the hose in a
waste pipe ensuring that there is a
gradual downward slope. Make sure
that the water does not flow back into
the dehumidifier and that it can flow
freely through the hose.

Replace water tank.
