1 - GENERAL
The KRUPS wine service cabinet is designed to store bottles of wine before they are due to be opened. This
elegantly designed appliance is designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or
failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not
apply. The "service" function is designed to conserve our bottles in optimum conditions before they are
opened. This cabinet is not suitable for storing wines to mature them for periods of more than one year.
! Important:
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by:
* incorrect use that does not comply with the specified use;
* repairs that are not carried out by approved after-sale centres;
* damage to the power cord;
* damage to any parts of the appliance;
* the use of non-original spare parts and accessories;
* work carried out on the inside of the appliance.
In all of these cases, the guarantee is invalid.
Safety instructions:
Do not bring the parts of the appliance that are powered in contact with water: there is a risk of short-
circuiting!
Purpose:
The machine is designed for the domestic storage of bottles of wine exclusively.
No technical modifications or unauthorised use of the appliance are permitted.
Electrical connection:
The wine cabinet must only be plugged into a suitable mains socket.
The voltage must be the same as that stated on the rating plate of the appliance.
Power cord:
Do not use the wine cabinet if the power cord is damaged.
Have the damaged cord and/or plug changed immediately by a service centre service, to avoid any
risk of danger.
Do not position the power cord on sharp edges or corners or on hot objects; avoid contact with oil.
Do not lift or pull the wine cabinet by the power cord.
Do not unplug by pulling on the cord; do not touch with wet hands or feet.
Do not let the power cord dangle from tables or shelves.
Protection of other persons:
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
Children are not aware of the dangers of electrical household appliances.
Conservation of these instructions:
Conserve these instructions in a safe place and attach them to the machine if another person is to use it.
