WARNING
Hands or objects inside the pump casing
Risk of injuries, damage to the pump!

Never put your hands or any other objects into the pump.
▷
Prior to energising the pump, check that the inside of the pump is free from
any foreign objects.
▷
Never hold the pump set in your hands when checking the direction of
rotation.
CAUTION
Pump set running dry
Increased vibrations!
Damage to mechanical seals and bearings!

Never operate the pump set for more than 60 seconds outside the fluid to be
handled.

The pump set is connected to the power supply.
1.
Start the pump set and stop it again immediately to determine the motor's
direction of rotation.
2.
Check the direction of rotation.
Impeller rotation must be anti-clockwise, seen from the pump mouth. (The
direction of rotation is marked by an arrow on the pump casing.)

If the impeller is running in the wrong direction of rotation, check the electrical
connection of the pump and the control system, if necessary.

Disconnect the pump set from the power supply and make sure it cannot be
switched on unintentionally.
5.3 Installing the pump set
Always observe the general arrangement drawing/outline drawing when installing
the pump set.
5.3.1 Stationary wet installation
5.3.1.1 Fastening the duckfoot bend
Depending on the pump size, the duckfoot bend is fastened with chemical anchors.
