7.3.2.4 Dismantling the piping

The notes and steps stated in (
Section 7.3.2.2, Page 27) have been observed or carried out.
ü
The electric actuator has been de-energised and secured against unintentional
start-up.
1. Open the valve disc to an angle of 10°.
2. Undo the fasteners.
3. Hold the two pipe flanges apart so that the liner will not be damaged.
4. Remove the valve/actuator assembly from the piping and place it on a clean and
level assembly surface.
7.3.3 Assembling the valve
7.3.3.1 General information/Safety regulations
CAUTION
Improper reassembly
Damage to the valve!

Reassemble the valve in accordance with the general rules of sound
engineering practice.
▷
Use original spare parts only.
Tightening torques
Use an appropriate tool to tighten the fasteners crosswise.
7.3.3.2 Mounting the actuator
ü
All dismantled parts have been cleaned and checked for wear.
ü
Any damaged or worn parts have been replaced by original spare parts.
ü
The sealing surfaces have been cleaned.
1. Apply a sealant to the contact faces between the valve and actuator.
2. Using suitable lifting equipment, lift the actuator onto the valve.
3. Fit the fasteners.
