PleasetransporttheUPSsystemonlyintheoriginalpackagetoprotectagainst
shockandimpact.

Preparation
CondensationmayoccuriftheUPSsystemismoveddirectlyfromcoldtowarm
environment. The UPS system must be absolutely dry before being installed.
PleaseallowatleasttwohoursfortheUPSsystemtoacclimatetheenvironment.
DonotinstalltheUPSsystemnearwaterorinmoistenvironments.
DonotinstalltheUPSsystemwhereitwouldbeexposedtodirectsunlightor
nearheater.
DonotblockventilationholesintheUPShousing.

DonotconnectappliancesordeviceswhichwouldoverloadtheUPSsystem(e.g.
laserprinters)totheUPSoutputsockets.
Placecablesinsuchawaythatnoonecansteponortripoverthem.
DonotconnectdomesticappliancessuchashairdryerstoUPSoutputsockets.
TheUPScanbeoperatedbyanyindividualswithnopreviousexperience.
Connect the UPS system only to an earthed shockproof outlet which must be
easilyaccessibleandclosetotheUPSsystem.
PleaseuseonlyVDE-tested,CE-markedmainscable(e.g.themainscableofyour
computer)toconnecttheUPSsystemtothebuildingwiringoutlet(shockproof
outlet).
PleaseuseonlyVDE-tested,CE-markedpowercablestoconnecttheloadstothe
UPSsystem.
