Motorcycle traction control (optional) (MTC)
K00396-01
The motorcycle traction control (MTC) lowers the engine torque in case of loss of traction
in the rear wheel. Depending on the motorcycle traction control setting, a slight slip on the
rear wheel may be desirable.
Info
When motorcycle traction control is switched off, the rear wheel may spin during
strong acceleration and on surfaces with low grip.
After the ignition is switched back on, motorcycle traction control is enabled again.
Motorcycle traction control is controlled via the
"Drive Mode"
p. 157) menu on the
combination instrument. Motorcycle traction control can be switched off in the
"MTC/ABS"
menu.
Info
When motorcycle traction control is active, the TC lamp
flashes.
When motorcycle traction control is switched off, the TC lamp
lights up.
