Scope of supply
1x Bracket for Quest / Quest2 GPS unit

Now insert the connector in the recess from below and fasten with the M3
x 10 flat-head screws and self-locking nuts. The cable will lead out of the
bracket to the right. Screw the base plate back on and mount the bracket to
the vehicle. Connect to positive lead after the ignition lock.
Mount the bracket to the center rail on the handlebar or to a suitable adap-
ter using the pipe clamp attached to the bottom of the bracket.
Mounting
Loosen the three nuts on the rubber metal element and remove the lower
base plate. Position the connector support and its antirotation device on the
cable as illustrated. The antirotation device and lock are positioned in front
of the connector support.
Mount the spacer plate between the cable supports and the bracket to
prevent the connector from being damaged when the unit is inserted.
To place the unit in the bracket, pull the lever all the way out. Slide the unit
with the antenna extended under the right hook and gently press into the
bracket. Let go of the lever and press down until the lock is at a right angle
to the bracket. If the bracket is lockable, you can lock the bracket now. Warning
for lockable brackets: the bracket is not 100% theft-proof. Never leave your
unit unattended. Remove the unit from the bracket whenever you leave your
vehicle.
Make sure the unit is firmly seated in the bracket. KTM will not be liable for
damaged or lost units.
