SAFE OPERATION
15.Escaping hydraulic fluid under pressure can cause
serious injury. Before applying pressure to the system,
be sure that all connections are tight and that lines,
pipes and hoses are not damaged. Fluid escaping
from a very small hole can be almost invisible. Do not
use your hands to search for suspected leaks, use a
piece of cardboard or wood. If injured by escaping
fluid, see a doctor at once. Serious infection or
reaction may result if proper medical treatment is not
administered immediately.
16. TOWING IN CASE OF DEFECTS
If the loader breaks down and must be towed, call your
nearest KUBOTA dealer. Proceed as follows in case of an
emergency.
(1) Before towing
1.1 To release the negative brake, loosen the 2
bolts on the rear axle cover and remove the
spacer.
1.2 Tighten both bolts by hand until both are in
contact the internal pusher plate. After
tightening both bolts, alternatively, for a
quarter of turn on each side, with a wrench
until they are completely tightened.
1.3 Remove the caps of the 2 high pressure relief
valves that are located at the top and bottom
of the pump. Loosen the M8 nuts and tighten
the adjust bolts by 6 turns.
(Be careful never to loosen the M8 nuts too
much.)
(2) Towing
2.1 Make sure the foot brake is ready.
2.2 The towing speed should be less than 1km/h.
2.3 Towing should never be performed over long
distance.

When towing backward, the machine should be pulled
by the towing hitch.
