5. Reassemble the outer-filter element and the air-
cleaner cover.
During reassembly, take care to install the air-
cleaner cover so that its
“TOP”
mark (arrow) faces
upwards.

IMPORTANT :
• If you use the machine in an excessively
dusty environment, inspect and clean or
replace the air-filter elements more often
than
indicated
in
• The air-filter elements are dry elements. Do
not oil the elements.
• Do not operate the machine without the air
filter installed.
4. Checking the fuel line and the
intake air line
1. Check to see that all lines and hose clamps are
tight and not damaged.
2. If hoses and hose clamps are found worn or
damaged, replace or repair them at once.
