3.2 Operating the machine for Parked
Regeneration Mode
1. Park the machine in a safe area away from
buildings, people, and animals.
2. Push the parking-brake-switch.
(1) Parking brake switch
3. Activate the hydraulic-lock-switch.
(1) Hydraulic lock switch
(2) Hydraulic lock indicator
4. Make sure that the
“Inhibit Mode”
is disabled.
5. Return the engine rpm to the idle speed.
Once the parked-regeneration-switch-lamp
starts flashing.
6. Press the
“Parked Regeneration”
side
of the
DPF switch to start the regeneration cycle.
The parked-regeneration-switch-lamp of the DPF
switch will remain
“ON”
constantly during the
regeneration cycle.
The engine rpm will automatically rise, and the
regeneration process will begin.
7. Make sure that the regeneration indicator
and the parked-regeneration-switch-lamp
stay
“ON”
while regenerating the DPF.
The regeneration indicator and the parked-
regeneration-switch-lamp turn
“OFF”
when the
regeneration cycle is complete.
During the regeneration cycle, do not touch the
levers and switches operated in this procedure, nor
change
the
engine
rpm.
Otherwise,
the
regeneration will be interrupted. Never leave the
machine when parked regeneration process is
activated.
Once parked regeneration process is complete, the
machine may be moved and returned to work.
NOTE :
• If the parked regeneration cycle is
interrupted, the engine rpm is fixed at the
idling level for about 30 seconds. For this
period, keep the accelerator pedal at the idle
position. Do not move the accelerator pedal.
The parked regeneration will function again
in 30 seconds.
