Troubleshooting the roof

4.1        Fig. 4.1 shows the only item included in the roof kit.
Note: inside view of roof assembly shown.

4.2        Orient the roof so the two quick attach pins are fac-
ing forward and the latches are facing the rear of the vehicle.
Hook the pins into the receiving slots towards the front of the
upper mounts and push down and forward to fully engage in
the slots. See fig. 4.2 for the correct slots to engage in. Snap
the latches onto the pins located on the rear of the upper
mounts until they are fully engaged. Two (2) clicks means
fully engaged.

4.3        To achieve a better seal or to achieve a “double
click”, the latches can be adjusted up or down. The pins can
be adjusted in all directions due to an oversized hole.

4.4        Tip: removal of any component that has latches can
be made easier for a single person if the latch is opened to
disengage the receiving pin then manually closed as shown
in fig. 4.4 so the weight of the component does not cause the
latch to continually re-engage on the receiver pin when you
try to work the opposite side of the vehicle by yourself. Push
at location “c” to close and pull at location “o” to open. Be
sure to open latches before re-installing.
