Cleaning Engine Cooling Areas
The engine cooling areas should be cleaned every 100
hours operation or every 1 year, whichever comes first.
The engine is equipped with blower housing clean out
ports for periodic maintenance in between cleaning.
To avoid serious injury:
A
Make sure engine is cool to the touch before
removing shrouds.
A
Always shield eyes and face from air deposits
and objects.
A
Consult your KUBOTA Dealer before disassembling
engine.
1. Remove fan guard.
2. Remove oil cooler.
3. Remove fuel pump.
4. Unplug voltage regulator and remove ground bolt.
5. Remove air cleaner.
6. Remove blower housing.
7. Remove engine shrouds.
8. Clean all areas that were previously covered by the
blower cover with compressed air. Remove all dust,
dirt, and debris.
9. Reinstall all parts in the reverse order of the above
procedure.
