Battery for storage
1. When storing the machine for a long period, remove
the battery from machine, adjust the electrolyte to the
proper level and store in a dry place out of direct
sunlight.
When disconnecting the cables from the battery, start
with the negative terminal first.
When connecting the cables to the battery, start with
the positive terminal first.
Tighten the negative terminals with the angle 45° to
the base line (A) as shown below.
2. The battery self-discharges while it is stored.
Recharge it once every 3 months in hot seasons and
once every 6 months in cold seasons.

Changing Gear Box Oil
To avoid serious injury or death:

Be sure to stop the engine and remove the key
before changing the oil.
1. To drain the used oil, remove the drain plug and oil
inlet plug with gauge at the gear box and drain the oil
completely into the oil pan.
2. After draining reinstall the drain plug.
3. Remove the oil level check plug.
4. Fill with the new oil up to the check plug port.

"PERIODIC SERVICE" section.)
5. After filling reinstall the check plug and oil inlet plug
with gauge securely.
