This raclette grill is a high-quality product and complies with the
recognized rules of technology and the Equipment Safety Law.
Important Information
Please read through these operating instructions carefully prior to
operating the raclette grill for the first time and store it in a safe place.
Pay particular attention, in your own interest, to the safety information in
order to avoid accidents and malfunctions. Improper use, application or
insufficient cleaning and care can impair safety and result in danger for
the user. KÜCHENPROFI cannot accept any responsibility for injuries or
damage attributed to improper use.
Safety instructions
1. If this device is given to other persons, ensure that these operating
instructions are also handed over.
2. We accept no responsibility for any damages that occur due to
improper use or incorrect handling. This device is only intended for
household use. Do not operate the appliance in unprotected outdoor
areas.
3. Please first check whether the type of current and supply voltage
match the information on the data plate.
4. Do not touch either the raclette device or the power plug with wet or
damp hands.
5. Never use a multiple power outlet, with which other devices are
already being operated.
6. Never operate the raclette device unsupervised and use it for the
intended purpose only.
7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not
be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
8. Do not at all operate this unit with an external timer or a separate
telecontrol system.

Caution:
The raclette appliance is to be placed firmly on a suitable
surface and must not be operated close to cooktops or gas flames.
Make sure the appliance stands level on all four feet and the heating
coil is located at the top. Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children less than 8 years.
10. Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a
way that no one can fall over the cord.
11. Connect several devices (max. 4) using the enclosed connection
cable only.
12. Keep a minimum distance of 15 cm between the devices.

Caution:
Using the device results in high temperatures. If necessary,
use oven mitts. Do not transport the appliance when it is still hot or
as long as several devices are connected together.
14. Please do not pull on the cable to move the device. Lift the device
and place it in the desired location.

Caution:
Never hold objects made of metal or other electrically
conductive objects in the contact openings of the mains outlet socket.
There is a risk of electric shock!
16. Ensure that no foreign bodies (paper, dishtowels, etc.) are touching
the heating coil.
