The following information on use and cleaning of the food mill will help
you get the best use and most enjoyment from your product.
Safety instructions
· Hold the food mill only by the long handle on the side.
· For maximum safety, always place the food mill on a pot or bowl
when using the product.
Use / changing of the discs
· Insert one of the four discs into the food mill with the curved surface
facing upward. Then insert the crank in the middle hole of the disc
and fasten the middle clip on the holders located on the sides. The
crank can now be turned easily. The food mill is ready for use.
· To change the disc, loosen the middle clip and remove the disc. Then
insert the desired disc and fasten the middle clip again
Use
The four exchangeable discs make it possible to strain many different
types of fruits and vegetables:
The straining disc with 1.3 mm holes is ideal for extra fine straining
of sauces, fruits and berries for jellies and for baby food.
The grating disc with 2.5 mm holes can be used for fine straining of
foods with a tough skin, such as apples, bell peppers or tomatoes.
The straining disc with 3 mm holes is the standard size for
vegetables, soups and thick purées.
The straining disc with 5 mm holes is perfect for stewed fruit and for
coarse straining.
