This product delivers its best performance with a 150 mm diameter chimney hole (except A100 and
A200 models). If the diameter of your chimney hole is smaller than that, a reducing pipe suitable for a
diameter of 120 mm comes with the product and you can make the connection with it. Chimney holes
smaller than 120 mm diameter are not suitable for any brand and are not recommended.
For A100 and A200 models to perform at their best, a chimney hole with a 120 mm diameter is
sufficient.

Place the electrical plug into a grounded socket

Direct the outing of the chimney without narrowing it.
•
Do not use your device without a filter.
•
Do not replace filters while the appliance is being used.
•
Switch on your appliance when you turn on your cooktop.
•
Do not switch the appliance on when you feel a gas leakage.
•
Use cloths damp with warm water and mild detergent to clean your appliance.
•
The aluminum filter should be washed at least once a month. Make sure that, when not used, your
gas or electrical cooktop is switched off as it may cause the temperature of your appliance to rise.

Do not leave frying pans and pots unattended as very hot oil may catch fire.
•
Reusing frying oil increases the risk of fire. Do not use cooking methods that involve open flame.
•
The air ventilated out by your appliance should not be directed to any chimney used by devices
powered by energy sources other than electricity.
•
Make sure that your kitchen is well ventilated before using your appliance or other devices
powered by a range of energy sources.
•
If an air ventilator is going to be installed, and in particular if the chimney is not used for a long
time, make sure that the chimney is in good condition.
•
Make sure that you comply with the requirements of local laws and regulations when discharging
waste gas through chimneys. Make sure that you follow the requirements strictly in order to avoid
the risk of fire.
•
Metal filters may change color as they may react with some chemical substances used in
dishwashers; however, this does not harm the performance of them.
•
The manufacturer shall reject any responsibility in connection to any failure to comply with the
above mentioned instructions and recommendations for the installation, use, and maintenance of
the cooker hood.
The manufacturer reserves the right to upgrade or modify its models and this guidebook without
prior notice.
