Operator‘s obligations
In addition to complying with the statutory regulations specified by the manufacturer, the operator must ensure the statutory
obligations are observed and implemented in the workplace, i.e. he must train his personnel and comply with industrial safety
legislation and any other regulations or laws in force.
For working on and with the device, the operator must draw up written instructions in understandable form and give these to
his employees in their own language. These instructions must be based on the operating manual and written in light of the work
to be performed.

Unit diary / Operating manual
We recommend that you keep a “device diary” and document all tests, and major work (e.g. servicing, changes) in it. Keep this
operating manual in a safe place so that you can consult it whenever you need safety instructions and important user information.

Safety instructions
The safety instructions for personal safety, the surroundings, and the goods being deviced depend heavily on the behaviour
of the people using the device.
Before putting the device into operation, read the operating manual carefully and follow the instructions to avoid errors and
damage, especially damage to your health.
In addition to the instructions in this operating manual, comply with the national laws, regulations, and directives in your country
when setting up and operating the device.
ELECTRIC SHOCK
Before using the device, check the mains lead and plug for damage.
If they are damaged, do not connect the device to the mains.
Works at the electrical equipment of the unit may only be performed by
adequately trained service companies
and in the safe
condition (voltage cleared).
Only permissible original spare parts must be used.
The use of different parts holds unknown risks and must be avoided at any rate.
Proper function and safety of the unit are only guaranteed if the required tests, maintenance and repair work have been
performed by
Kulzer service agents
or by
personnel adequately trained
by the manufacturer.
Kulzer GmbH will
not accept
any liability for damage to the unit resulting from inexpert repair which has not been performed by
Kulzer service agents
or if no original spare parts / accessory parts have been used during the exchange of these parts.

Intended use
The light polymerisation device HiLite
®
power 3D is used to cure light-curing, dental materials in the dental laboratory as well as
post curing process of 3D-printed objects, made out of photosensive liquids / resins for exclusively dental medical purpose.
The light polymerisation device HiLite
®
power 3D is manufactured using state-of-the-art technology and is safe to operate.
However, the device can be dangerous if it is not operated by adequately trained personnel, or used incorrectly or contrary to the
intended use.
The device must be operated by dental-laboratory technicians or assistants who:
have acquired their skills through technical training or instruction,
are qualified to perform their duties correctly,
can detect possible dangers when working with the unit.

If particular problems not described in detail in this operating manual arise, please contact the supplier to ensure
your own safety.

CAUTION
Remove any jewellery and put on the necessary personal safety clothing, e.g. hand, face, and body protective clothing.
