Preparing the machine components
9.2.1 Housing
Cleaning:
Wipe the housing with a mild cleaning agent to clean it.
9.2.2 Light reflector
Cleaning:
If the reflector is dirty, clean it at least once a week with a mild cleaning or rinsing agent.
NOTE
Heat will build up if the holes in the light reflector are blocked, if the filter is clogged, or the ventilator is not
powerful enough. Polymerisation is not reproducible and the machine may switch off automatically for safety reasons.
The modellations become unnaturally hot and may be damaged.
Observe the following information:
Remove dirt from the holes in the light reflector.
If the fault re-occurs, inform the Service department (see paragraph 15 Service).
Disinfection:
Wipe the reflector with alcohol-based agents to disinfect it.
9.2.3 Lamp reflector
Cleaning:
Wipe the reflector down at least once a month with a soft, lint-free cloth to clean it.
DISCONNECT FROM MAINS
Risk of fatal injury!
Unplug the machine before working on it.
NOTE
Dirt on the flash lamp will considerably reduce its service life.
Observe the following information:
When cleaning the lamp reflector with a cloth, do not touch the lamp with your fingers or spread any dirt over it.
Remove heavy dirt with a mild cleaning or rinsing agent. If in doubt, contact the Service department
(see paragraph 15 Service).
9.2.4 Filter disc
Cleaning:
Wipe both sides of the disc down at least once a week with a commercial glass cleaner.
NOTE
Only use the disc again if it is in perfect condition and if there are no streaks or other dirt on it.
9.2.5 Filter
Cleaning:
Clean the filter if it becomes dirty because of compressed air.
