IMPORTANT
This error condition is detected and shown only when the hand piece is placed in the
charging unit.
NOTE – Battery-low signal
When after frequent use the battery charge drops to the minimum level, the Translux 2Wave
microprocessor allows another few exposure cycles without re-charging the battery.
This condition is signalled at the end of each cycle by
“2 beeps”.
At the end of the remaining battery charge, the unit will have no further exposure cycle
and this condition is shown on the display by the battery icon with no internal black bars.

Icon “Soft-Start” program

Time / Program

” means increase of light intensity from 50% up to 100% within 2 seconds.

“LED” light source indication
This indication blinks at the top left of the display when the Translux 2Wave LED light
source is defective.

“T” indication – Overheating protection
The hand piece has become overheated in the course of use and the temperature
overload sensor has activated.
The activation of the overheat protection temporarily prevents the use of the unit for
a few minutes.
In this mode the letter “
T
” comes on, steady, at the top right of the display and three beeps
signals are emitted once.
NOTE
The hand piece will automatically exit from the cooling state upon reaching
operational temperature and the letter “
T
” (steady) on the display switches off .

“T” indication – Temperature overload sensor defect
In case the built-in temperature overload sensor is defective the letter “
T
” comes on
(blinking) at the top right of the display.
NOTE
If the temperature overload sensor fault occurs during an exposure cycle,
the software allows completing the exposure. No further exposure cycle is allowed
by pressing the “
STAND-BY
” button and “
4 beeps
” are emitted.
