5.3 Breakdown maintenance
1. Treatment for cutting tool producing adhesive: firstly check the water spray nozzle if it can spray or
not, or the spray quantity not enough and produce adhesive. If only the single sided adhesive represents
the spray nozzle is not placed in the central point. If still have adhesive, then maybe caused by the
cutting toll motor rotation.
2. F machine uses the cooling oil: usually we use the water silicone oil, and the dilution ratio against
water is about 1/20. If this silicone oil is not available in local place, the sul fonated caster oil is the
replacement. Please don’t cool the blade with only water, or it would damage the parts.
3. How to choose the cutting tool rotation usage: if the cutting material is soft and specification is small
or using the foam tape, we would use cutting tool rotation, the principle is that the soft material doesn’t
have support and cannot cut. When we use the cutting tool rotation we must rotate it at same speed with
the main shaft and adjust the cutting speed. Usually the main shaft rotation speed is about 450-500RPM
is better to cut. Especially note that the cutting tool rotation has the same main shaft rotation speed or
not, or this would produce friction material edge and circular blade glue grinding.
4. Double blade mark treatment: if the double blade mark appear in the cutting products, and the cause
please check the cutting tool smooth or not, or the blade feeding too fast or not, and the paper core inner
diameter shaft axis distance too loose. If still the double blade mark has the double blade mark and we
must check the blade or the slide rail or the screw ball is wear and tear or this wear and tear would cause
the left and right movement.
