Insufficient cut
worn or unsuitable abrasive
insufficient drum pressure
insufficient belt tension
worn belt
replace abrasive
increase drum pressure, see pg. 13

Insufficient motor speed
insufficient voltage due to:
excessive length or unsuitable cable cross-section
precarious connections
faulty running capacitor
faulty motor
use cable of suitable length and cross-section
set up suitable connections
contact an authorized K&T distributor
contact an authorized K&T distributor
Grooved work surface
faulty abrasive
dirty or faulty drum surface
incorrect wheel adjustment
replace the belt
clean or replace the rubber-coated drum
correct their position, see pg. 13
Insufficient dust collection
Paper dust bag more than 2/3 full
Dust suction conducts clogged
Filter clogged
replace the paper bag
clean the air conducts
clean the filter
The motor does not start
faulty safety switch or contactor
faulty start-up capacitor
insufficient voltage due to precarious connections
