Starting machine

8.  To lock the machine in the working position without holding down the starting button, press the lock button

sideways on the main handle.

9.  Choose the inclination and the pressure to apply on the working surface by adjusting the handwheel. To

increase the pressure and therefore more tilt the plate to rotate toward the "+" symbol, as shown by the

stamping on the base.

10. Once locked the starting button and set the pressure of the sander machine, place your hands in one of the

following ways:

  A hand on the main plastic handle of the machine and the other on bilateral handlebar;

  Both hands on bilateral handlebar.

11. Keep constantly moving the sander machine on the working surface do not press overly on the main handle

or on bilateral handlebar.

12. Depending on the tool used, on the working process, on the size of the working surface and on desired

finish surface, plan a repeatable working method.

CAUTION

The machine works with a constant pressure regulated previously by the operator by adjusting the handwheel

pressure control.

If you exercise an additional and excessive pressure on the sander machine may be non-uniform and non-

optimal finishing surface.

13. To switch off the STORNELLO® pressing the starting/shutdown button on the main handle of the machine,

unlock the lock button, and then release it.

Machine adjustment procedures

Adjusting the sanding pressure and/or inclination of the plate

To change the pressure of the sanding disc on the working surface, adjust the handwheel located on the axis of the

rear wheel, so it adjusts the angle accuracy of sanding.

Proceed as follows:

1.  Turning the handwheel

clockwise towards the position

"+" the inclination of the plate

or tool increases and therefore

the pressure of the disc on

working surface increases.

Consequently decreases the

contact area between the tool

and working surface.

2.  Turning the handwheel

counter-clockwise towards the

position "-" the inclination of

the plate or tool decreases and

therefore the pressure of the

disc on working surface

decreases.

Consequently increases the

contact area between the tool

and working surface.
