5. MAINTENANCE

5.1 REMOVAL OF PACKAGING
Place the appliance in its
installation site (chap. POSITIONING
AND INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE).

Cut straps R and remove the
box or plastic bag C.
Â
Immediately destroy the plastic
bags S as they could be dangerous for
children.
Â
Once the appliance is free
from its packaging, remove the side
protections F and then the base B.
PACKAGING
Packaging material is 100%
recyclable. For its disposal follow your
local regulations.
The packaging material (plastic
bags, polystyrene parts etc.) must be
kept out of children’s reach as it could
be dangerous.
5.2. INSTALLING
THE APPLIANCE
LEVELLING THE APPLIANCE
Make sure that the appliance is level.

Adjust the front feet P if neces-
sary (Fig. 8-9).
ASSEMBLY OF SPACERS
The distance from the wall must be
at least 4-5 cm to guarantee suffi cient
air circulation.

Attach the two spacers D (see
accessories) to the back of the appli-
ance, as shown in fi gure 10.
WARNING!
Keep ventilation openings, in the
appliance enclosure or in the built-in
structure, clear of obstruction.
5.3. SAFETY INSTALLATION
STANDARDS-WARNINGS AND
RECOMMENDATIONS
This is an important safety
requirement and must be complied
with.
In case of doubt, have the mains
supply checked by a qualifi ed electrician.
As with any other electrical
appliance, a few fundamental rules
must be observed during use:

do not touch the appliance
with wet or damp hands or feet.

do not pull the power cable to
remove the plug from its socket. do not
expose the appliance to atmospheric
agents.
