Controller KE910
KE910 has eight control buttons, two connec
-
ting cables with banana plugs and a built-in
loudspeaker. This allows KE910 to be used as
a PROBE for contactless location of cables or
wire pairs. After the wire pair to which the KE905
Remote has been connected has been found,
the KE910 is connected firmly with clamps
or isolating plugs.
This is necessary for remote control of the remote unit.
Attention: Before connecting the controller KE910 for remote control,
the connection to the terminal device must be disconnected.
INFO LED
When a control command is sent, the INFO LED lights up for 1 second to
confirmthis.IfthecontrolcommandisdetectedandexecutedbytheRemote
KE905, a high acknowledgement tone is heard. If the command is not reco
-
gnized or not executed, the LED does not light up and an interrupted error
tone is heard.
LS search tone
TheLSkeyactivatesthesearchtonespeakerandboththesearchtonesent
byKE905Remoteandtheportcanbeswitched.Tofindtheunknownline,
oneofthetwotestcordsisusedasanantennainordertobeabletofind
the line you are looking for without touching it. The PROBE KE410 (Art. No.
0.49561-4)canalsobeusedforthispurpose.Tocontroltheremotefunc-
tions, the line must be connected metallically.
