Functional description
Unfold the front cover before reading further. The mentioned pictures
can be found on these pages.
All device settings are made via the two push buttons on the display.

when in master-slave mode, both sides can be set independently of one
another. The upper push button is referred to as button

. The buttons are active as long as they are lit
and inactive when they are not lit.
The following table describes the possible settings and how they are
made:

Description
To set the extraction capacity:
After switching on, operation continues with the last set extraction capacity.
By pressing and holding down button ❶, the extraction capacity is continuously increased.
By pressing and holding down button ❷, the extraction capacity is continuously decreased.
The extraction capacity can be increased/decreased. Both buttons are active.
Maximum extraction capacity is reached. Beep & button ❶ inactive. Button ❷
is active.
Minimum extraction capacity reached. Beep & button ❷ inactive. Button ❶
is active.
To reset the filter operating time:
Press and hold down button

Switch on the device. Wait 10 seconds/10 beeps.
Release both buttons at the same time.
To reset to factory settings:

Switch on the device. Wait 3 seconds/3 beeps.
Release both buttons at the same time.
To connect to a soldering station:
The Solder Fume Extraction EASY ARM 2 can be connected to the following Ersa soldering stations:
• i-CON 1 C and i-CON 2 C
• i-CON VARIO 2 and i-CON VARIO 4
Connect the interface cable (3CA10-2003) to the remote port 1 or 2 of the extraction device, and to
the interface connector A or B of the soldering station.
To set the master-slave mode:
The extraction device is selectively and completely controlled via display
