The transport lock screwed under the heater head
d) Once the transport lock has been fitted, unscrew the soldering nozzle from the
pipette turning it by hand clockwise. If the pipette was manually screwed on
too tightly, use the supplied SW9 spanner to unscrew it. Do not allow any lat-
eral forces to act on the pipette axis.
e) Manually screw the desired soldering nozzle onto the pipette and very slightly
tighten it always by hand.
f) Loosen the two fixing strips of the transport lock, but do not unscrew them.
g) Pull the transport lock off the heating head to the front and put it down. Leave
the fastening strips screwed on.
h) Set the transport lock aside for later solder nozzle changes.

The process has now been completed.
