Check the rework system on a weekly basis for any dirt or damages.
8.1 Check the rework system on a weekly basis for any dirt or damages.
Check the following machine parts on a weekly basis for any dirt or damages. If you
spot any dirt, remove it as indicated. During cleaning never scrub the machine and
never work with hard or sharp-edged objects!
Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation, turn off the rework sys-
tem from the main switch!
CAUTION
Risk of burning due to heated machine parts and PCB!
All heated machine parts as well as the surrounding housing parts and product sup-
port frame, the circuit board and the components become hot even during warm-up
to the process temperature [Tinit]!
Parts are particularly hot during the soldering process! After the soldering process,
wait until the device and the PCB have cooled down and reached non-hazardous tem-
peratures!

Upper and lower glasses of the vision box:
a) Remove the vision box.
b) Clean the glass plates with a lint-free cloth and a commercially available glass
cleaner.

Component trays:
a) Clean the component trays with a lint-free cloth.

In case of heavy dirt with flux material or solder paste: Use a cleaning
agent recommended by the flux material or solder paste manufacturer.

Mirror plates under the RPC camera and under the vision box:
a) Bring the RPC camera and the cross table to a suitable position.
b) Clean the mirror plates with a lint-free cloth and a commercially available glass
cleaner.

In case of heavy dirt with flux material or solder paste: Use a cleaning
agent recommended by the flux material or solder paste manufacturer.

Housing parts:
a) Clean all housing parts with a soft, lint-free cloth and a household detergent.
ü
PCB holder plane parallelism check:
a) If bent, straighten or replace it.
ü
Heating head ceramic check:
a) Check the ceramic at the bottom of the heating head for any flaws or deforma-
tions; further, check the heating coils in the ceramic for any flaws. Replace in
case of damages.
