Solder waste is hazardous waste and must not be disposed of together with do-
mestic waste.
a) Provide safe and environmentally friendly disposal of packaging materials!
b) Make sure that all process materials and replacement parts are disposed of in a
safe and environmentally friendly way!
In accordance with Directive 2008/98/EC on waste and Directive 2002/96/EC on
waste electrical and electronic equipment, we recommend the following proced-
ure:

To prepare the machine for disposal:
a) Have the machine disconnected from all utility services by a specialised techni-
cian:

Electrical power supply

Computer network

Only when all this work has been performed may the disposal of the machine
be started.

If professional scrapping is not possible in the user’s premises:
a) Contact a certified waste management company.
Waste prevention has priority over waste disposal!
Many parts of the machine can be used again. Only when reuse is not possible,
should these parts be recycled.
The machine can contain the following substances or devices:
Electronic and electrical equipment
Computer, electronic controls, relays,
monitors, cameras, sensors, meters, mo-
tors, preheater modules
Plastics
Cables and caterpillars, hoses, heat insu-
lation, sensors
Metals
Steel, copper, aluminum, brass, gold,
lead, tin, silver
Glass, ceramics
Preheater modules, screens
NOTE
Disposal of electrical equipment
Waste Disposal in accordance with Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament
and of the Council of 27 January 2003 on waste electrical and electronic equipment:
Products marked with the symbol of a crossed out wheeled bin must not be disposed
of with unsorted municipal waste. Local authorities have set up special collection
points for their disposal. Please check with your city or district council authorities the
options available for the separate collection of used equipment. This way, you can
make your contribution to the reuse or other forms of use of waste to protect the en-
vironment and human health.
