Setting up the PC
5.1 Setting up the PC
– For the PC configuration required for your Rework System, refer to the PDF
document
3BA00212 “PC-Konfigurationsempfehlung_Ersa-IRSOFT-HRSoft-ImageDoc”.
This document can found on the Ersa Rework USB stick (3BA000149).
You will need also:
– A network card must be installed in the PC. Ersa recommends an Intel
®
network
card.
– Network cable for connecting the rework system to the PC and, if required, to
the company network.
– USB stick with the Ersa software and the operating instructions for the rework
system (item USB flash drive Rework).
Installing drivers
a) Switch on first the Rework System and then the PC. Wait for the operating sys-
tem to start.
b) Have a user with administrator rights get logged in.
c) Insert the USB stick with the operating instructions and software [USB flash
drive Rework] (3BA00149) into a USB port of the PC.
d) Copy the contents of the USB stick to any folder on drive C:.
e) There, open folder “Driver,” then folder “ImagingSource.”
f) Start the installation program by double-clicking:
– GigEcam_Versions No._setup.exe
a) Answer any queries with Yes. Do not change any settings.
When requested to do so by Ersa-Service, Install the two following programs in the
following sequence:
– 1. ic_setup_Versions-Nr..exe
– 2. setup_iccapture_Versions-Nr._Versions-Nr._.exe
Entering the IP address
a) Click on the Windows start button once and enter “Network.”
b) Click on the “Network status” line in the Windows start menu.
c) Click on “Change adapter options” in the “Status” dialog.

The network adapters will be displayed.
