7.5 Activate a soldering profile and prepare the soldering process
Open tab [Rework]. The available soldering profiles are listed in the left column.
With regard to this, please also read Chapter Use of the soldering profile in the [Re-
work] tabulator [
Notes: If any change is made in tab [Rework], they cannot be saved. With regard to
this, please also read Chapter Temporarily editing the soldering profile in the [Re-
work] tab [
62] and the following ones. Only the administrator may save soldering
profiles. With regard to this, please also read Chapter Editing the soldering profile
in the [Profile management] tab and changing it permanently [

Click on the desired soldering profile to activate it. You can now work with this pro-
file.
Use buttons [Process automation]to enable the desired process steps in the bot-
tom field. The process starts from the left with the first activated process and is
carried on to the right by performing the various process steps. With regard to this,
please also read Chapter The [Process Automation] button row [
In the tab line, click on button [Manual mode]to display, in the left window area,
the buttons for manually controlling machine functions such as: pick-and-place
laser, pipette vacuum, heating head procedure, etc. With regard to this, please also
read Chapter The [Manual Mode] [
Check all the soldering profile settings, consisting of the chart, the buttons [Process
automation] and the three tabs [Information], [Heater config] and the tab with the
small arrow button (Image processing). If necessary, make corrections.
