9.1 Read this first!
9.1.1 Target readers, permitted spare parts

Personal injury or material damage due to the machine inadequate maintenance and
improper operation!

Maintenance work must be performed by trained and qualified staff only.

Carry out the maintenance and inspection activities recommended in this instruc-
tion manual.
a) First, read the section "Safety instructions"!
b) Comply with the specified maintenance intervals!
c) Wear suitable protective clothing for all types of work! Also, check personal pro-
tective equipment for cleanliness and functional efficiency! Do not use damaged
protective equipment, replace it with new items!
d) Use spare parts, replacement parts and wear parts exclusively authorized by the
machine manufacturer!
e) Thoroughly clean the machine before starting work!
f) Re-tighten loosened screws after completion of maintenance! Install safety
devices and check for their proper operation!
g) Dispose of operating and auxiliary materials, cleaning agents, and replacement
parts properly and in an environmentally-friendly manner!
9.2 Nameplate and machine number
NOTE
Important note
When ordering spare parts always specify the machine number. This number is prin-
ted on the nameplate (see illustration above). The nameplate contains other import-
ant information about the machine such as machine type, electric power rating, con-
formity marking and disposal data.
