4.1 Information concerning machine transport and storage
CAUTION
Material damage is possible!

The machine is supplied in a sturdy carton on a pallet. Damage caused by im-
proper storage or improper transportation is not covered by warranty!
a) Always transport or store the machine in a box on a pallet!
b) During the machine transport, avoid any jerky movement, abrupt setting-down or
bumping!
c) During storage, protect the machine from weather conditions (moisture, humid-
ity, sea air, fog)! If required, provide the machine with dehumidifying agent and
air tight packaging!
4.2 Information on how to unpack the machine
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
a) To unpack always use proper tools!
b) Use suitable protective clothing!

Disposal
a) Provide safe and environmentally friendly disposal of packaging materials!
NOTE
Find out and ascertain any transport damage
a) Inspect the machine for any transport damage immediately after unpacking it.
b) Immediately notify the forwarder any transport damage.
4.3 Packaging with TIP n TELL indicator

To check a package equipped with TIP n TELL tilt indicator:
a) check all the TIP n TELL stickers available.
b) If the indicator is not coloured, this means that: the machine was properly
transported.
c) If the indicator has turned blue, this means that: during transport the machine
was excessively tilted.
d) If the indicator has turned blue, this must be specified in the consignment
note!
