5.2 Performing functions [Start Setup] and [Pixel Shift adjustment]
The Rework System and Rework processes can be controlled via the HRSoft 2 pro-
gram. To set up the rework system, now perform functions [Start device setup] and
[Adjust pixel shift].
Always perform both functions [Start device setup] and [Adjust pixel shift]:
– whenever reinstalling the Rework System
– after reinstalling HRSoft 2
– after replacing the heating head
– after relocating the Rework System.
After starting HRSoft 2 for the first time, you will be logged in as administrator. This
is a prerequisite for performing [Start device setup] and [Adjust pixel shift].
The [Username] and also the [Password] are registered under “Admin,“ please pay
attention to capitalization.
If the Administrator changes the [Password] or creates a new [Username], do not
forget the passwords entered, or note them down and keep them in a safe place.
With regard to this, please also read Chapter The [user management] tabulator

a) Double-click on the icon of the [HRSoft 2] link on the computer desktop.
b) Enter the Administrator name and password into the [Login] window.
Info: There are two user classes: “Administrator“ and “Standard user.“ Depend-
ing on the user name and password entered, you will be assigned to one of
these classes. With regard to this, please also read Chapter The [user manage-
ment] tabulator [

If you highlight checkbox [Remember me], your user name will be already recorded
the next time you log in.
a) Acknowledge your entries by pressing the Enter key or by clicking on the [LO-
GIN] button.
HRSoft 2 starts in the administrator mode and opens tab [Rework].
