Process the Jamb
1.
Make sure the presets are completed.
See “Preset the 960-3” on page 2-3
2.
Make sure air, and power are ON.
See “Initial Powering Operations for the 960-3
3.
At the center of the machine, set the hand, set the
Lock Plate Shape,
and the
Bolt
Plate Shape
settings. For more information,
see “Door Hand Selector” on page 2-13.
4.
Insert the jamb into the machine by firmly aligning the top of the jamb to the desired
index and firmly into the machine stops.
5.
Make sure your hands are away from the
Cutter Head
and the clamping area, then
press the
Start Sequence
pedal.
6.
The machine will clamp the jamb and rout the material.
7.
If auto-eject is set to ON, the jamb will be kicked out to the catch brackets.
8.
If auto-eject is set to Off, press the
Stop Sequence
pedal to eject the jamb.
9.
The process is now complete and the machine is ready for the next piece.
